El índice de precios de los alimentos de la FAO* se situó en octubre de 2023 en un promedio de 120,6 puntos, es decir, 0,7 puntos (un 0,5 %) menos que en septiembre, continuando así la tendencia a la baja y ubicándose 14,8 puntos (un 10,9 %) por debajo de su valor de hace un año.
