Cipanas is an Indonesian potato variety released in 2003 by Balitbangtan/IVEGRI. It has oval to round, yellow-brown tubers with yellow flesh, matures in about 100–110 days, and yields 20–30 tons/ha. Well-suited for highland tropical climates, it is moderately resistant to late blight and bacterial wilt. Known for its firm texture and mild taste, Cipanas is ideal for boiling and curries, with moderate storage quality and good local adaptability.
