Swiss technology group Bühler has acquired Esau & Hueber, a German company known for its expertise in hygienic process and fermentation technology across the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors.

In 2023, Bühler successfully navigated a complex and volatile global landscape and increased its profitability.

Swiss technology group Bühler unveils its new food innovation hub in Uzwil, Switzerland, bringing together a diverse range of capabilities into a single location and setting a new stage for product and process development.

Innovations in new products, services, and applications resulted in even stronger market positions of the global technology company Bühler. The company grew order intake by 16%, to more than CHF 3 billion (about USD 3,26 million).

In 2020, Bühler proved to be a reliable partner to all its stakeholders and showed robust business performance in 2020. Despite adverse conditions, Bühler fulfilled all customer contracts and delivery agreements without interruptions.

TOMRA Food, a global provider of sensors, equipment, and digital solutions for the food supply chain, joined over 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest project member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). 

Due to the positive response and over-subscription of virtual meetings, Bühler has decided to keep the Bühler Virtual World open at least until the end of May. Over the three days, more than 12,000 people from 132 countries visited the digital platform, around 500 private meetings are ongoing.

In just six weeks, Bühler transformed its physical interpack program into a fully digital experience. It has certainly been a very steep learning curve for the company, but one that will give Bühler’s partners and customers access to new services.

Processing Equipment manufacturer Bühler celebrated the ground breaking for its Innovation Campus in Uzwil, Switzerland. Completion of the building is expected for the first quarter of 2019.

Visar Sorting, a Swiss company that developed and manufacturers of an optical sorting system for carrots, used Potato Europe to gauge the interest of the potato industry for their prototype of an optical sorting system for potatoes.
