Mayan Twilight Potato is a maincrop variety with oval-long, red parti-coloured skin and parti-coloured red flesh. It has good resistance to bruising, powdery scab, common scab, and blackleg, and some resistance to splitting. The variety shows low resistance to dry rot (Fusarium sulphureum), late blight on tubers, and potato virus Yo. It is susceptible to both Ro1 and Pa 2/3,1 potato cyst nematodes. Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute; breeder rights not yet set.
