News on The Potato Supply Chain from France

In het Noorden van Frankrijk zijn de pootcondities de laatste weken prima en is men volop aan de gang met het planten van de aardappelen voor de hoofdoogst.

Net als een aantal weken geleden in België zijn er nu ook aaltjes gevonden in partijen aardappelen afkomstig uit Frankrijk.

De totale Franse aardappeloogst komt volgens de prognose van Agreste, het bureau voor Statistiek van het Franse Ministerie van Landbouw, uit op 6,3 miljoen ton.

Volgens de laatste schattingen van Agreste (het bureau statistiek van het Franse Landbouw Ministerie) komt de hoofdoogst (excl. zetmeelaardappelen) in Frankrijk uit op 4,7 miljoen ton aardappelen.
