Variety Description

Ulster Prince is an early maturing potato with a semi-erect to erect growth habit and white flowers. The tubers are long to oval with white to yellow skin and white to light yellow flesh, featuring shallow eyes. It has high yield potential with very large tubers but is susceptible to late blight and low resistance to common scab.

This variety is best for firm cooking (salad type) and has poor suitability for crisping and French fries. Ulster Prince is highly resistant to Potato Virus A but has low resistance to several pests and diseases.
