Santiago produces lots of bright, smooth skinned attractive tubers, delivering a high yield of medium to large round/oval shaped tubers, with very few out-grades. <br/><br/>The good skin finish and uniform shape mean the variety is very suitable for the washing sector. <br/><br/>Good resistance to common scab and late blight (phytophthora).
