Philippines.

On May 30, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) celebrated the first International Day of Potato in its headquarters in Rome.

The potato industry on PEI is excited to celebrate the inaugural International Day of Potato. In December 2023, the UN General Assembly proclaimed May 30 as the International Day of Potato.
