Variety Description

Tokai is a high-yielding, medium-early potato variety ideal for crisps, flakes, and French fries. It maintains excellent frying quality even at 4°C storage without sugar buildup. With yellow skin, light yellow flesh, and 13–15 oval to long-oval tubers per plant, Tokai is resistant to nematodes, wart disease, foliage blight, and common scab. Suitable for both conventional and organic farming on sandy or clay soils.
