Aviko heeft vorig jaar 40 miljoen euro winst gemaakt. In 2006 draaide het dochterbedrijf van coöperatie Cosun nog met verlies. Het was daarom niet te voorzien dat de niet-suikeractiviteiten van Cosun zou leiden tot een plus op de bietenprijs van 6 euro per ton, zegt Aike Maarsingh, lid van de raad van beheer van Cosun.
Aviko heeft in 2007 40 miljoen euro winst gemaakt.
