Red Emma, Blue Elise, Pink fir apple and Sieglinde: The Austrian association "Arche Noah"together with supermarket chain Spar are working towards providing selections of rare potato varieties.
The cooperation want to send a message to the EU against the planned EU seed regulation and encourage organic varieties. From mid November the special potato selections will be available in selected Austrian Spar Gourmet supermarkets as well as branches of Eurospar and Interspar.
