De aardappelnotering van de Landbouwbeurs Noord en Centraal Nederland (LNCN) begint goed en het prijsniveau kan dit seizoen nog flink stijgen.
Volgens Edwin Burgers, directeur van DCA-Markt, komt de markt in het voorjaar boven de 20 euro uit. "En dan nog eerder naar de 25 dan naar de 20 euro per 100 kilo."
Dit is echter geen garantie voor afzet. In het verleden bleken verwerkers bij zo’n hoog prijsniveau over de grens te gaan inkopen. Er is dus een plafond in de aardappelprijs. Dit vertelde Burgers gisteren, nadat de eerste aardappelnotering van LNCN was bekend gemaakt.
