De rooitijd voor de aardappelen van de hoofdoogst is aangebroken. Na de ruime hoeveelheid neerslag van eind vorige week zijn de weersomstandigheden alsmede de vooruitzichten prima zodat er de komende week flink kan worden doorgewerkt.
De stemming in de aardappelmarkt is in korte tijd duidelijk verbeterd. Cijfers die rond gaan in de markt en afkomstig zouden zijn van Agra Informa geven een totale aardappeloogst (inclusief zetmeel) voor de EU-15 landen aan van 42,5 miljoen ton tegen 44,5 miljoen ton vorig seizoen.
