Riego tecnificado triplica producción de papa en Bolivia
AgroNáyade, representante en Bolivia de la firma israelí NaanDanJain, llevó a cabo el “Día del riego tecnificado en cultivo de papa”, con una muestra a productores, autoridades y empresas agropecuarias de los valles. Más de 150 personas comprobaron los resultados de nuevas técnicas que le permiten a los cultivos incrementar su rendimiento hasta un 300%.

When CIP staff first arrived in Jodhpur things felt familiar. The arid landscape, the water table, and the warm days that fed into cool evenings were reminiscent of Gujarat - India’s most productive potato growing state, except that at Jodhpur and Jaisalmer district runs along the Pakistan border no potatoes were grown.

Major US project to improve potato production in Bangladesh and Indonesia led by MSU
The US Agency for International Development has awarded Michigan State University (MSU) a $5.8 million cooperative agreement to improve potato production in Bangladesh and Indonesia. Additional partners include the University of Minnesota and J.R. Simplot as well as in-country partners in both Bangladesh and Indonesia.
