Thor is a very late-maturing, high-yielding starch potato variety with big, round-oval yellow tubers, light yellow flesh, and very high dry matter content, well-suited for sandy soils, direct field delivery, or storage, and offers good resistance to blight, common scab, and wart disease (type 1).
