Tayto Group Ltd

Tayto Group Ltd., founded in 1956 by Thomas Hutchinson, is a family-owned British snack producer based in Tandragee, Northern Ireland. The company produces nearly five million snack packs per day over five UK facilities, including the original factory at Tandragee Castle.

In 2006 Tayto Group Ltd acquired part of the Golden Wonder operations. In December 2007 Tayto acquired Sirhowy Valley Foods the manufacturing company behind Real Crisps.

Tayto also operates factories located in Corby (former Golden Wonder), Wednesbury (Red Mill Snack Foods; closed 2010). 

Tayto Group's brands include Golden Wonder, Mr. Porky, REAL Crisps, The Real Pork Crackling Company, Midland Snacks, and Tayto, Northern Ireland's most popular crisp brand. The company also produces private label snacks for big UK stores and markets them worldwide.
