Tayfusion, a digital solutions firm based in Dundee, Scotland, created the Data Intelligence for Growers (DIG) platform in partnership with a Scottish seed potato specialist.

DIG is intended to help seed potato growers, merchants, and traders manage many elements of crop production and sales.The software includes features including seed inventory control, sales and purchase management, forecasting, test digging, and store administration.

Key features include a cloud-hosted data system, a multi-user permissions structure, seed sales regulation compliance, and tools for field and store administration, grading, dispatching, and financial forecasting.

DIG intends to help customers integrate digital technologies into their processes, potentially increasing crop management efficiency and lowering expenses.The platform was honored with the 2023 Potato Industry Awards Best Innovation Award.
