The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), is known for its dairy products brand Amul.
In September 2017, the coop has announced it will enter the market of frozen french fries starting October 2017, offering fries, wedges, hash brown and aloo tikki (potato patties).
In 2007 GCMMF entered the branded snacks market with Munch Time, a salty snack much like Frito Lay’s Kurkure in taste. However, PotatoPro does not believe this product is still available in the market.

Banas Dairy has started construction of a potato processing plant in Gujarat, India for the production of French Fries
The Banas Dairy (part of GCMMF) potato plant will have an annual capacity to process 50,000 metric tonnes of potatoes. The company will produce French fries and 12 other potato products for local markets as well as export.
