CIP South Asia Regional Centre (CSARC)

The International Potato Center’s South Asia Regional Centre (CSARC), located in Singna, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is a cutting-edge research facility dedicated to advancing the development of potatoes, sweetpotatoes, and other root and tuber crops. Established with the approval of the Union Cabinet, CSARC aims to enhance food and nutrition security, increase farmers’ incomes, and create sustainable job opportunities in the region. 

The center will collaborate closely with leading agricultural institutions, including ICAR institutes, State Agricultural Departments, Indian universities, and private sector partners. By integrating innovative research, technology, and partnerships, CSARC is set to drive agricultural growth and improve livelihoods across South Asia.
