Porbatata, the Potato Association of Portugal, Potato Association of Portugal is to represent the interests of the whole potato sector in Portugal and to be a unique and active voice of the sector, uniting production, marketing and industry. Founded on September 28, 2016, Porbatata is a non-profit organization that aims to promote Portuguese potatoes.
Based on an innovative view of processes, it represents the interests of the entire industry at national and international levels, defending companies and seeking to release bottlenecks that interfere with their competitiveness and sustainability.
The association's mission is to monitor, compile, produce and disseminate relevant information, namely of a productive, commercial and market nature, while promoting and stimulating domestic consumption and exports, enhancing synergies with other agri-food sector organizations.
