Brand Description

Deep River Snacks, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Deep River, Connecticut, produces kettle-cooked potato chips, baked crisps, popcorn, and Honchos organic seasoned tortilla chips. 

The brand focuses on clean-label snacking, offering goods created with non-GMO ingredients, cooked in sunflower oil, and certified gluten-free, kosher, vegetarian, and nut-free. The company also incorporates charity endeavors into its branding, contributing 10% of sales and promoting community nonprofits on its packaging.

Deep River Snacks was acquired in late 2017 by Arca Continental, a big Mexican beverage and snack conglomerate that also owns Wise Snacks, Bokados (Mexico), and Inalecsa (Ecuador).

Deep River Snacks acquired by Arca Continental
Deep River Snacks, a US company manufacturing premium better-for-you snacks based in Connecticut, was acquired by Arca Continental, the second largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America and parent company of the snack companies Wise Snacks, Bokados and Inalecsa.
