French fry manufacturer AVIKO launches a new website in the United Kingdom. As part of the launch, caterers in the UK have the chance to win an IPAD 2.
The site, www.aviko.co.uk , features downloadable recipes, culinary advice, a handy Productfinder search facility and a new consumer insight function.
The "five consumer experiences"is a key feature of the new website;which looks at the most important consumer trends that are shaping the foodservice industry. The portal allows caterers to review their menus from these five different perspectives to discover products that reflect changing consumer needs.
And to celebrate the launch Aviko is giving caterers the chance to win an iPad 2 by signing up to their quarterly newsletter. The newsletter is filled with all the latest news, recipe ideas, trends and potato market updates;caterers can find out about the range of potato products on offer.
Aviko general manager, Mohammed Essa, said: "As a foodservice authority, Aviko understands successful catering is a combination of the right products and insight. This website is about sharing our knowledge and being a partner in the kitchen when it comes to choosing the best potato accompaniments for the job.
"The interactive site allows us to communicate with our customers to help them maximise profits and develop menus that meet the needs of the market."
