De eerste cash settlementprijs voor dit seizoen voor aardappelen op de termijnmarkt in Frankfurt is €15,50 per 100 kilo.
Dat is ruim twee keer zo hoog als de €7,60 waar het vorige aardappelseizoen mee startte. De prijs ligt nu veel hoger omdat er minder aardappelen worden geoogst.
De cash settlementprijs wordt vanaf half november iedere week berekend op basis van aardappelnoteringen in Nederland, Duitsland, Frankrijk en België. Tegen deze prijs worden termijncontracten afgewikkeld als de laatste handelsdag voor een contract is verlopen.
