The Potato Council put on a spectacular display in London this morning, cooking up a potato dish, UPSIDE DOWN!
In the unique stunt, aimed at getting the younger generation to ‘Love Potatoes’ this autumn, Potato Council took to the London’s South Bank to show just how easy and quick potatoes are to cook.
In a purpose built, portable kitchen a ‘contortionist cook’ created simple potato dishes from the Potato Council’s autumn recipe collection while literally standing on her head!
The jaw-dropping feat took place at the London Eye between 8.00 and 9.00am to show consumers just how easy they are to cook and has propelled potatoes into the national media headlines. As well as wowing passers-by, the contortionist cook also performed the feat live on air as part of ITV’s This Morning shows cookery section with resident Chef Phil Vickery.
