Universal Robina Corporation, headquartered in the Philippines, paid AUD $600 million for Snack Brands Australia in 2016. Intersnack, a German snack food manufacturer, subsequently purchased Snack Brands Australia, adding The Natural Chip Co. to its broad portfolio.
