Savalan is a high-yielding potato variety developed in Iran, introduced in 2008 by the Seed and Plant Improvement Institute. It produces oval, white-skinned tubers with shallow eyes and creamy white flesh. Known for good storability, Savalan is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
