Pentland Squire is a versatile cultivar with good resistance to certain viruses (A and X), although it has some susceptibility to fungal and bacterial diseases. It has medium to high yield potential, with large tubers and a medium to long dormancy period, making it suitable for a variety of uses, though it’s not ideal for crisp or fry production.
